Road trip car movie theatre

I grew up with a conversion van that had one of those tv vhs combos between the front seats and a bin of "van movies" (fly away home, forest gump..) on trips we recreate this movie theatre vibe by wedging a tablet between the front two seats. Kids have to watch the same movie, we listen along. It's a movies only situation.

May I also recommend getting a crappy cheap tablet (Amazon fire) and using it for movies while traveling only - just download them before you go, keep the WiFi off and don't allow for games to be downloaded! Movies on the go!
