feed kids dinner before the restaurant on vacation

Listen, I'm on vacation to have a good time and that means we're going to restaurants that sometimes don't have a kids menu. God bless you if your kids are adventurous eaters, but I have not been similarly blessed. The kids get kid dinner where we are staying beforehand. At the restaurant they can have a drink of their choosing, try anything we're having, and have some dessert. To keep them entertained they can run a hangman game, bring a book, etc etc. this is your permission to go to the good restaurant!
