I think Kai Ryssdal is my longest parasocial relationship? I started listening to marketplace 20 years ago as a baby Econ student and still listen every day. Kai has comforting "it's all going to be okay" dad energy. And he was a naval aviator, a foreign service officer, and then started all over as an intern at npr - we love a second act!
