
My rec is to have friends for breakfast. This is the best and easiest meal. It's much easier to host friends with kids (because bedtime isn't an issue), it can go long without it meaning you get a bad nights sleep, and no dishes to deal with the next morning. I serve the same thing every time - a quiche (the linked recipe made the day before (v. good) or picked up from a bakery), blueberry muffins (smitten kitchen), a bowl of berries with vanilla yogurt, and dressed greens. Coffee, milk, oj. You're done!
